Job Description:
  • Redistribute waste in roll-off bins with a 8k telehandler forklift.
  • Line roll-off bins with plastic liners.
  • Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and hosing down floors.
  • Spot for drivers and fellow technicians.
  • Monitor 2 different waste streams as they fill up roll-off bins, and check both every 30 minutes.
  • Hose down the outside of roll-off bins as they come back from the landfill.
  • Occasionally chip hardened waste from the inside of roll-off bins.
  • Use bucket attachment for forklift to scoop out waste from overfilled bins.
  • Complete required documentation accurately, timely and legibly in accordance with applicable regulations, customer policies, practices and procedures.
  • Perform other reasonably related tasked as assigned by management.

Starting rate $22.00 hourly

Basic Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to slide heavy lids on and off the roll-off bins.
  • Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Visual acuity to read labels and documentation; depth perception to safely drive forklifts.
  • Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms.
  • Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Preferred Requirement:
  • 2+ years prior experience with hazardous materials.
  • Basic computer skills to complete web-based training.
  • Ability to predictably and regularly attend work during scheduled hours. Must be willing and able to occasionally work nights, weekends and variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including safety glasses, hard had, steel toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.
