About the Job
Job Description:
  • Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved.
  • Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops.
  • Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system.
  • Requires up to 4 overnights per week based on routes
  • Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops
  • May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.    
  • Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.    
  • Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.    
  • Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis.
  • Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste
  • Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.

Starting pay $21.00

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.   
  • Understand, read, and write English.
  • Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs. 
  • Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed).
  • Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience working with hazardous materials.
  • One or more years related experience.
  • Knowledge OSHA Regulations. 
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures.
